- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆We had a summerhouse with decking from Sheffield sheds approximately 8 years ago. About 2 years ago the decking started " bouncing " & it was obvious the supports werent doing their job. We telephoned at least a dozen a dozen times . We were never given a guarantee & didnt want something for nothing. We just wanted them to take a look & tell us how much to repair the problem. We were told we were on their job list & as soon as they were in our area they would call on us . Never happened. My husband called again & asked to speak to Andy the owner. My husband heard Andy in the background say " Tell him Im not here ". His son who answered the call said " I told him Id put you on ". Andy again said we were on the job list. Today 20/1/17 we have a professional carpenter here who has taken the decking up. No wonder Andy didnt want to come back . We have never seen such a codged job. They used decking as joists, which has rotted , packed uneven areas with bits of slate & decking off cuts & they nailed the decking down instead of using screws.
